Simbolo dell’azienda liquoristica nata a Fondi nel 1903, Amaro Erbes è preparato esclusivamente con estratti di circa 40 varietà di erbe, radici e semi dalle spiccate proprietà digestive, con predominanza di china, rabarbaro, genziana e menta. Un’esplosione di sentori aromatici e proprietà benefiche: un’invenzione storica, frutto di scienze erboristiche, gusto e talento. Di colore ambra scuro, al naso sprigiona una potenza balsamica unita a una nota torbata, mentre in bocca è chiara l’impronta vegetale. A natural infusion of locally sourced ingredients, namely wild Nepitella mint, Syracuse IGP lemon peel, alcohol, Sicilian aromatic herbs and Etna spring water, creates an artisanal digestif to be enjoyed cold after a meal. The first sip reveals the herbaceous note of Nepitella, which brings to mind all the wild flavours of the Sicilian countryside, followed by a slight bitter hint from the infusion of lemon peel. A tribute to the legend of Italian cinema and his unconventional style: this Dry Gin from St. Kilian, one of Germany's leading distilleries, is produced with hand-picked juniper berries from Tuscany and fruity Amarone della Valpolicella grapes, which give it depth and complexity. It is the pride and joy of Villa Zarri, a company based in Castel Maggiore, in the province of Bologna: a brandy made from a single vintage, 2003, obtained from selected Trebbiano Romagnolo wine, distilled using the discontinuous method in pure Charentais copper stills. The passing of the years, the balanced use of French oak barrels and the magic of the microclimate make this brandy an exceptional product to which a selection of Kentucky tobacco grown in Tuscany has been added by infusion. The result is a refined distillate, the perfect companion for cigar smoking. With a very bright amber colour, it offers bursting aromas of leather, tar, chestnut honey, raisins, black pepper and cigar leaves. On the palate, it is warm and spicy, slightly tannic, enveloping and with an exhilarating finish characterised by a clear accent of liquorice wood.
